New analysis reveals the impact of intermediate care in Leeds

The Networked Data Lab is a collaborative of advanced analytical teams from across the UK. They are working together on shared challenges and promoting the use of analytics to improve health and social care. Thanks to the Leeds Data Model, the NHS in Leeds and Leeds City Council are one of five partners across the country who successfully bid to take part in the initiative.

NHS booking opens for life-saving flu and COVID-19 vaccinations in West Yorkshire

Eligible people in West Yorkshire can now book flu and COVID-19 vaccinations as the NHS rolls out additional protection for those most at risk ahead of winter. Touchstone is bringing together their Safe Space and Well-Bean Crisis Cafes across West Yorkshire with one new name and updated look – Here For You, an out of hours service offering face-to-face support for anyone feeling down or struggling to cope with their thoughts.

Leeds GP Confederation Rated ‘Outstanding’

The Care Quality Commission (CQC), independent regulator of health and social care in England, have announced the overall rating of Leeds GP Confederation’s services as ‘Outstanding’ after an inspection conducted in September 2023. The inspection report published by CQC also awarded Leeds GP Confederation ‘Outstanding’ in both effective and well-led categories, reporting that the organisation showed a ‘culture of high-quality sustainable care’.

Leeds residents urged to take antibiotics seriously

The NHS and health partners in Leeds will be joining health organisations around the world next week (18-24 November) to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance as a global health threat and to encourage people to pledge to do their part to tackle it.
